HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-01 Euless TodayJanuary WATER 817-685-1471 Dear Citizens, You may remember reading about the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD), which is a program that aims to reduce crime, increase public safety and improve quality of life for Euless citizens. One of the ways that the CCPD is improving the quality of life for our young children is by funding the program, Euless Police Inspiring Champions (EPIC). In this wonderful program, officers involve kids in fun physical activities that promote teamwork, good sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle. As the officers interact with kids in an encouraging environment, they promote self-esteem and build positive relationships. I am extremely proud of our Police Department for presenting EPIC at every Euless Elementary School. They are helping children see the Police as their friends, who are here to encourage them and help them to succeed.
