Dear Citizens,
You may
remember
reading about
the Crime
Control and
Prevention
District
(CCPD),
which is a program that aims
to reduce crime, increase public
safety and improve quality of
life for Euless citizens. One
of the ways that the CCPD is
improving the quality of life
for our young children is by
funding the program, Euless
Police Inspiring Champions
(EPIC). In this wonderful
program, officers involve kids
in fun physical activities that
promote teamwork, good
sportsmanship and a healthy
lifestyle. As the officers interact
with kids in an encouraging
environment, they promote
self-esteem and build positive
relationships.
I am extremely proud of
our Police Department for
presenting EPIC at every Euless
Elementary School. They are
helping children see the Police
as their friends, who are here to
encourage them and help them
to succeed.

Did you know…?
Holiday lights should only be up for 90
days to protect your home and comply
with the National Electrical Code?
Declutter, Organize and Spark Joy!
After the chaos of the holidays, January is the ideal time to put away the
decorations, organize your belongings and declutter your home. As you are
sorting items, please consider donating or recycling them instead of tossing
them out. Some items are 100 percent recyclable, such as clothes or shoes,
and some items can pose a health risk, such as electronics and medications,
when you send them to a landfill.
Clothes/Accessories/Linens
This convenient service comes to you, picks up your donated household
goods and leaves you a tax receipt. Your Donation Pickup helps 6 Stones
raise funds which directly benefits members of our local community. Items
should be limited to those that one person can carry. To schedule a pickup,
either visit YourDonationPickup.com or call 682-970-2038.
What can be picked up:
Electronics
United Electronic Recycling in Coppell offers drop off for Euless residents
for items such as computers, wires & cables, miscellaneous office items,
appliances, A/V equipment, batteries and back-ups. You can find a detailed
list of accepted items at www.uer.com or by calling (855) 837-8326.
You can also drop off used cell phones, computers and other electronic
gadgets at your local Staples or Best Buy store. They recycle a large variety of
electronics. Visit Staples.com or BestBuy.com for a list of accepted items.
