Chairperson Diana Crawford called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M.
The minutes of the May 10 meeting were approved with correction.
I. 1993 PROJECTS
Members discussed status reports on current projects.
Committee asked Rick Herold to get with the city of Euless Legal
Department to develop release form for photograph project.
II. OLD BUSINESS
General discussion of ongoing projects with members assignments.
III. NEW BUSINESS
Robert Nail made a motion that a special area for the Historical
Preservation Committee be included in the new library designed for
display cases, photo exhibits, storage and meeting room. Evelyn
seconded. Motion carried.
It was requested that each board member submit one name for possible
alternate to come to Historical Preservation meetings to alleviate
problems with quorum.
Discussion of searching for an individual to work with researching
historical markers for the city.
Katherine Thompson, Public Information Officer for the City of Euless
will research process for developing a book on Euless history. She
was asked to publish meeting notices in the Mid-Cities News.
Rick Herold advised members that he had city staff to help on any
projects should there be a need for assistance.
The meeting adjourned at 11:50 A.M.
