Euless Historical Preservation Committee
Minutes
January 17, 1994
Members Present: Bill Byers, Weldon Cannon, Diana Crawford, Geri
Donworth, Mazie Eden, Betty Fuller, Evelyn
Himes, Iva Nail, Robert Nail, Helen Payton,
Jean Whitener, and Nina Winters.
Staff Present: Rick Herold and Julia Wakeley
Council Member
Present: Mayor Mary Lib Saleh
At our January meeting, members gathered at City Hall to visit
structures and sites of historical interest in the city of Euless.
At each of the sites, a commitee member gave a brief overview of
the history of the structure or site. A video recording of the
tour was made for future reference. Sites visted were:
Elisha Adma Euless' Cotton Gin
Grange Hall & 1st United Methodist Church
Fuller Cafe
Fuller home
Birch home(Mayes Store)
Euless School & Old Iron Bridge
Himes home
McCormick Barn
Huffman home
Anderson/Fisher home
Cromer home
Stone House
The meeting was adjourned at the conclusion of the tour, shortly
after 12:15 p.m.
