July 14, 1994
Members Present: Diana Crawford, Bill Byers, Nina Winters,
Robert Nail , Iva Nail, Helen Payton, Evelyn
Rimes, Jean Whitener, and Mazie Eden.
Staff Present: Rick Herold and Julia Wakeley.
Guests Present: Councilman Glenn Walker
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:10 p.m.
I. EULESS' FIRST BRICK HOUSE
A. Bill Byers updated members on his meeting with the moving
company. Routes were reviewed regarding the house being
relocated at Villages of Bear Creek Park. The quote
ranged from $11,000-$14,000 depending upon on pre-removed
bricks.
Diana Crawford updated members on the status of saving
the house. The demolition was extended by Taco Bell
until August 5th.
Councilman Glenn Walker joined the meeting at 6: 00 p.m.
and brought the committee up to date on his conversations
with the moving company and Taco Bell. The moving
company needs until September 6th to move the house.
Taco Bell is reviewing that time frame.
The Historical Preservation Committee prepared plans for
saving the house to be presented to Taco Bell and any
other major potential contributors.
The meeting was adjourned at 6 : 55 p.m.
