1 . Bill Byers reported that Vada Johnson hosted the Fuller
House Saturday. There were some 75 people registered
to view the house. This was the best attendance to
date.
2 . Michelle Burger brought an U.S. flag that she bought at
Warren Fuller' s estate sale which will be displayed in
our museum.
3. Bill Byers announced that the upstairs of the Fuller
House was near completion. Discussion was held on what
furnishings would be used upstairs . Weldon Cannon
suggested that we use it as a storage area and rotate
the exhibits . We could develop themes, etc. It was
also suggested that we have adjustable shelves for
display purposes .
4 . Weldon Cannon reported that he read a 1904 Fort Worth
newspaper that indicated Euless had 104 registered
voters in 1904 . There were eight voting precincts in
the County. In year 1906 there were 146 scholastic
students . Euless ranked 7th largest in Tarrant County.
5. We now have a computer that the City will deliver for
us . Willie Mae McCormick provided the funds to
purchase the computer for use at the Fuller House by

1931 Community Census survey passed away this past
February.
B. Himes House
The Committee went outdoors to make a determination as to
the location of the Himes House when moved adjacent to the
Fuller House. It will be located in an area south of the
Fuller House . Most trees will remain undisturbed. The
house will face the street and the porch and fireplace will
be visible from the street.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 11 : 30 a.m. Committee members
and staff proceeded to the current location of the Himes
House, which was being prepared for being moved to its new
location by Friday, May 12, 2000 . Seeing the actual logs in
the cabin was impressive.
