Oakwood Terrace Elementary visited Heritage Park on April 10, 2003".
2. Under Old Business item#4: It should read, "Bill Byers noted that the Committee received
a thank you card from Helen Payton for the memorial that was sent to the Fuller House".
2. Under New Business item# 1: The approximate cost of the bust is $8,500 not
$40,000.

Old Business
1. It was reported that 14 people visited on Saturday May 10th. It was also mentioned that
everyone came because of the signs that were posted.
2. Bill Byers spoke with the Mayor regarding payment for the bust. The Mayor informed Mr.
Byers that at this time the money is obligated. Charlie Miller, however, indicated that he would
pay for one third of the bust. The Committee decided to put the project on hold until a better
opportunity arises in the future.
3. The Committee asked Suzanne Hendrickson to make sure that the museum hours got on the
web-site and cable TV.
4. It was reported that the flags out front have been repaired.
New Business
1. Jay Rodon donated old dishes, a kettle, an iron and two leather chairs to the Fuller House. He
also found a front page of the Dallas Morning News paper dated Dec. 11, 1926. This page
was being used as insulation for Tom Butler's house in Tarrant County. This has been framed
and placed in the Fuller House.
2. Michele Burger reported that she spoke with Hilarie from the Arts Council regarding putting
the monthly Museum schedule in their calendar.
3. Weldon Cannon reported that he will be speaking at Bedford County in Tennessee on
June 16th. He will speak on how settlers came from Tennessee and settled in the Hurst Euless
Bedford area.
4. The Committee will meet at Helen Payton's house for lunch in June.
5. Several Committee members commented on how wonderful the Euless book is. The book was
passed out at the reception on May 4a'. They asked that staff get books for those that were
unable to attend the reception and also provide one for the Fuller House.
6. Committee members were appreciative of how well the Museum grounds looked. It was also
noted that the parking lot has been re-done.
7. Bill Byers reported that there is a possibility that the First United Methodist Church might need
to move their Magnolia tree for their upcoming construction. It was discussed that it might be
a good idea to move the tree to the Fuller House since there was a Magnolia tree on the
original property. Suzanne Hendrickson will ask Johnnie Green to look at the tree to see if it
can safely be moved.
