Acquisition Committee
Minutes
April 5,2004
Call to Order
Sub-committee chair, Dan Clark called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m.
Members Present
Dan Clark, Michele Burger, Iva Nail, Robert Nail, Chris Jones, Betty Fuller
Staff Present

Old Business
1. Dan Clark reported that Betty Dahl saw the Historical Preservation Committee's"Wish
List"in the Euless Today magazine and called to donate a gas stove. Mr. Clark took
pictures of the stove for the committee's viewing.
2. Iva Nail made a motion for the stove to be accepted by the committee as a donation.
Betty Fuller seconded the motion. Motion approved.
3. The committee agreed that Mr. Clark would make a motion at the next regular committee
meeting,that loaned items may be accepted only for a specific period of time and for a
specific display. A waiver will be drafted with a statement to this affect.
4. It was also mentioned that at the last regular committee meeting, Michele Burger
suggested that loaned items should be accepted from Committee members.
5. Dan Clark requested that the committee come up with questions they would like to have
included in the"Donation Form"that he is currently working on. (see attached)
6. Michele Burger reminded the group that the committee's picnic will be at 10 a.m. on
May 3, 2004 at Heritage Park. Committee members were asked to bring a covered dish.
New Business
1. Iva Nail mentioned that Mrs. Boswell and her family along with the Nails had a wiener
roast at Heritage Park last weekend. Mrs. Boswell's grandchildren had a great time.
2. It was mentioned that Betty Fuller visited Vada Johnson at the retirement home she
currently resides in and Mrs. Johnson's daughter has put her "things"in storage.
Adjournment
Sub-committee chair, Dan Clark adjourned the meeting at 12:00 p.m.

s. What was the item used for
t. If item donated has several pieces to it, how many pieces makes up the set
