Minutes
May 3,2004
Call to Order
Sub-committee chair, Dan Clark called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m.
Members Present
Dan Clark, Helen Payton, Betty Fuller, Iva Nail, Chris Jones, Michele Burger, Robert Nail
Old Business
1. Dan Clark brought in several digital photos for the sub-committee to view. One picture
was of the house that Willie Byers used to live in. Another picture was of Fire Station
number 3. Other photos were of items donated by the public.
2. The committee reviewed items offered for donation. The following were accepted to
become a part of the Museum's collection:
a. School desk
b. Torch
c. GTE binding machine
d. Game boards and card games from the 30's
3. Betty Fuller presented an original donation form to the committee that Mr. Clark
especially preferred over previously prepared drafts.
New Business
1. Dan Clark mentioned that he saw parks at another city with plaques detailing the history
of each park. These plaques were permanently installed on the site. He felt that this
would be a great addition to Euless parks. Mr. Clark would like to track the history of
each park in Euless and have similar plaques installed.
Adjournment
Sub-committee chair,Dan Clark adjourned the meeting at 11:00 a.m.
