Mike McGehee would like to review the expansion plans at the next meeting. 2. Adriane Weinstein questioned if spending the Loan Star money on the project was the best way to spend the funds. Kate Lyon said the state supported her decision as well as City Administration. Additionally, the funding from the state is the largest EPL has received and the money for the tile project will only represent 20%of our Loan Star funds. 3. Betty Fuller expressed how pleased she is that the Historical area is being added to the expansion of the library. She said that many libraries have historical areas and this will be a great way to keep the history of Euless. Betty also shared that she is very pleased with the tile project. 4. Barney was concerned that the men's public restroom was such a mess tonight. He was also concerned about the outside plants. The tops of the plants were being pulled off and left on the ground making the front of the library look bad. Kate shared with the Board that we have had some issues with the children after school. She is working with Mike Brown to have a Police presence and hope this will take care of the problem. 5. Marcia Brown reports that"Trojan Spirit"has made a difference with the students that need help with the TAKS test. CITIZEN INPUT: None ADJOURNMENT: The Chairman asked for a motion to adjourn.
