Chairman Mike McGehee called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES:
The Chairman asked for a motion to be made to accept the December minutes. Adriane Weinstein made the motion to accept the
minutes,and Marcia Brown second the motion.
REPORT FROM THE LIBRARY ADMINISTRATOR:
Sherry Knight asked for input regarding what type of statistics and information the board wanted to have included in the monthly
statistic report.
The"Public Service Report"will be monitored by Sherry. She will be watching for costs and numbers for the Circulation Report.
The new Human Resource Manager,Carolyn Marshall,has been over to see the operations of the Library and meet staff. HR reports
that they will begin interview process for Library Administrator the week of January 9`h.
Bedford Public Library reciprocal agreement was re-instated on January 3, 2006
Northeast Tarrant Reads kickoff is March 6, 2006. Ten local cities banded together and agreed on"Plain Sue"by Kent Harvf would
be the first of a series of books.
The empty reference section will be used to relieve crowding in fiction and YA. The romance spinners will be relocated.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
1. Sherry Knight to see if Adriane Weinstein can be the official alternate representative to NTRLS.
NEW BUSINESS:
Election of new officers and representatives:
1. Barney Snitz nominated Mike McGehee as Chairman and Adriane Weinstein seconds the motion. All members in favor of
the nomination.
2. Betty Fuller nominated Barney Snitz as Vice-Chairman and Kate Lyon seconds the motion. All members in favor of the
nomination.
3. Adriane Weinstein nominated Kathy Grove as Secretary and Kate Lyon seconds the motion. All members in favor of the
nomination.
4. Marica Brown nominated Adriane Weinstein as the Library Board representative to the Euless Library Foundation. Betty
Fuller seconds the nomination. All members in favor of the nomination.
5. Marcia Brown nominated Barney Snitz and Betty Fuller to represent the Library Board at NTRLS. Kathy Grove seconds the
motion and all members were in favor of the nomination.

ADJOURNMENT:
The Chairman asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Barney Snitz and seconded by Chris McAllister. The meeting
was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
