A car occupied by a mother and four children became disabled in Euless on Friday evening and an SUV struck it from behind, killing a 4-year-old boy inside, authorities said.
Nolan Coleman, of Lancaster, died of blunt-force trauma to the chest and abdomen,
according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was reportedly pronounced dead at 9:42 p.m. inside Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine.
A 6-year-old boy was also transported to a hospital and was in stable condition, Euless
police said. Officers responded Friday evening to a report of a disabled vehicle in the left express lane of the 800 block of West Airport Freeway, police said. They discovered the
mother and four children had been in the car when it was struck from behind by an SUV.
A multi-agency CRASH team responded to the scene to investigate the crash, police said.
