The presence of Leon Hogg, Euless City Council member, was very encouraging to all
of us. His interest in our efforts was affirming. He shared some of the goals and hopes
for the future of Euless. The future plans for developments in our City look promising.
Councilman Hogg invited members of the Library Board to attend the City Council
meetings and gave us the schedule through March 1997. He said we were welcome to
come to the pre-council meetings at 4:00 p.m. (Building A in the downstairs conference
room) to be able to ask and answer questions of the other boards. Afterwards, attending
the City Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. would enable us to report back to the Library
board what is being done in Euless.
Mike McGehee set a schedule for those who will attend the City Council meetings
through March 13th, including our alternates.
