These students and their families may now use the Euless Public Library on the same basis as Euless residents. The importance of the Euless Library joining the Citizens Network of Northeast Tarrant County consortium at this time was discussed. Delay could result in being unable to join the consortium at a later date, plus the expense of providing service as an individual library. The benefits of the shared information infrastructure and communication network are essential to the Library and its users. City Council will consider Library inclusion in the consortium at the December 12, 1996, Council meeting. All Board members were encouraged to attend the City Council meeting and to explain to City Council members the far-reaching, long-range benefits of joining the consortium at this time. Mr. Denari suggested the Library consider establishing and displaying a "Euless Collection" of appropriate literary items, such as the poem, to establish a Library reputation commemorate with the magnificent new structure. 2. Adults and senior citizens, also, need attention. Children and youth programs are and will be of primary importance. But the adult intellectual interests need to be addressed.
