REPORT OF LIBRARIAN Mrs. Yarbrough reported the June and July 1993 circulation information. See the attached documents for exact figures. In summary, circulation was up 3 percent in June and down 3 percent in July compared to last year's results. The 20,189 total circulation figure (for June) marked the first time in four years that the total circulation has passed the 20,000 level. This is truly incredible when you consider that the Euless Library maintains only 60,000 books due to the lack of space! Mrs. Yarbrough reported the following meetings or activities: 1. Let's Talk About Books! 2. The Mayor and new Councilman Miller toured the Library. 3. Staff attended a Zig Zigler promotion. 4. Mrs. Yarbourgh visited Irving, Allen, & McKinney Libraries with Herold & Alice Ernest. 5. Puppet Show with Rowlph's Birthday and Clowns. 6. TLA Annual Assembly in Austin, TX. 7.
