The meeting was called to order by Alice Ernest at 7:00 P.M.

LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
Betty Yarbrough reported the following statistics:
Total circulation-11 ,439 New registrations- 192 (juvenile-41 , adult 151 )
Visits to Genealogy Room-65; videocassettes checked out 2031 ; walk-in traffic 4083
In -house use of materials 3479
Eighteen volunteers contributed 206 hours of service
• One hundred fifty-four children and 21 adults attended 12 storytime sessions conducted by
Meredith McMannis
SPECIAL PROGRAMS:
Three puppet shows- 106 children and 43 adults

MISCELLANEOUS:
Public Service Etiquette Workshop-Sue Morrow and Barbara Thompson
Kay Godby discussed the Library, Parks, and Economic Development Sales Tax Election Issues.
Elaine Turner distributed the Friend's of the Library 1992 Income Statistics. The $5,573.49
income generated was the highest amount ever given to the L Ibrary. 1 he money will bo designated
for a color printer and other items as needed. Friends of the Library contributed 1 ,784.8 hours
of service in 1992.
Election of Officers is scheduled for the February meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:46 P.M.
