The meeting was called to order by President Alice Ernest at 7:07 P.M.

LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
Betty Yarbrough reported the following statistics for July:
Total circulation-18,574 New Registrations-334 (80 .juvenile -254 adult) up 5.0%
Visits to the Genealogy Room-102; videocassettes checked out 2,511 ;walk-in traffic 5650,
In-house use of materials-3370
Twenty-seven volunteers contributed 246.75 hours of service.
Six hundred forty-eight children and 76 adults attended 30 storytime sessions conducted by
Meredith McMannis.
Special programs included: *Three day care tours-46 children and 10 adults
*Two sessions of "Rowlph"s Birthday Party"-91 children-35 adults
*South Euless 6th grade Volunteer Puppet Group-Instruction session
13 performances-40 children-16 adults
*Genealogy Workshop-4 children- 12 adults

The Library Board and Staff drafted goals and objectives for the Library's Long Range Plan.
