The meeting was called to order by President Alice Ernest at 7:05 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT:

STAFF PRESENT:

VISITORS PRESENT:
Elaine Turner-President-Friends of the Euless Library
LIBRARIANS REPORT:
Betty Yarbrough reported the following statistics for June:
Total circulation-19,547 New Registrations-431 ( 165 juvenile and 266 adult)up 7.8%
Visits to the Genealogy Room-91 ; 2536 videocassettes checked out;walk-in traffic-5682;
in-house use of materials-4287.
Thirty volunteers contributed 318.75 hours of service.
Five hundred eighty-two children and 48 adults attended 23 storytime sessions conducted by
Meredith McMannis.
Special programs included: *Two day-care tours-47 children and 7 adults
* Library staff visit to the Senior Citizens Meeting(29 members)to
promote the Summer Reading Program
