The meeting was called to order by Alice Ernest at 7:12 P.M.

VISITORS PRESENT:

LIBRARIAN'S REPORT: Betty Yarbrough reported the following statistics for May:
Total circulation: 14,191 New registrations: 253 (57 juvenile and 196 adult)
Statistics included 80 visits to the Genealogy Room; 2010 videocassettes checked out; walk-in
traffic-3972;and in-house use of materials-3246.
Twenty-one volunteers contributed 105.5 hours of service.
Three hundred twenty-seven children and 31 adults attended 14 storytime sessions conducted by
Meredith McMannis
Special programs included: * Two tours-89 children and 7 adults from Midway Park Elementary
* School visits to 74 classes at Midway Park,Oakwood Terrace, and
South Euless Elementary Schools

The Library Board and staff present brainstormed and drafted a preliminary Mission Statement as
one component of the Library's Long Range Plan.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
