REGULAR MEETING
EULESS PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
August 1 , 1991
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Public Library Board of Trustees was called to order by Bill
Kirkley at 7:05 P.M.

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
JUNE
Sheila Williams,assistant library director, reviewed the june library report:
*Total circulation : 18,139 up 1 1.1%from 1990
*399 registrations *117 visits to Genealogy Room
*Eighteen volunteers contributed 268 1/3 hours of service
*727 children and 64 adults attended 28 stooytime sessions
*12 children and 4 adults attended a children's Genealogy Workshop
*Two children's tours were conducted for 48 children and 6 adults
*721 children enrolled in the Summer Reading Program
MEETINGS ATTENDED BY LIBRARY STAFF:*Let's Talk About Books *Adult Education Reception
at Botanic Gardens. Sheila reported that a new copy machine is now available for use by
patrons.
JULY
*Total circulation 17,694, an increase of 8.8% from 1990 *369 registrations
*94 visits to the Genealogy Room *Eighteen volunteers contributed 272 3/4 hours
of service *612 children and 70 adults attended 27 stroytime sessions *Two children's tours
included 68 children and 12 adults *800 children have enrolled in the Summer Reading
Program
MEETINGS ATTENDED BY LIBRARY STAFF: *TLA ** Friends and Trustees Involvement
Committee *Children's Roundtable
The city council appointed Anita Head lay representative and Betty Fuller alternate lay
representative to the North Texas Library System.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 P.M.
