JANUARY 7, 1991
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Public Library Board of
Trustees was called to order by the Chairman Kay Munden.

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
LIBRARIAN REPORT:
Betty Yarbrough December 1990
Total December Circulation, 9, 475. up 18.7% from previous year.
New Member Registrations totaling 160; 120 adults and 40 juvenile.
22 out-of-city and 1 out-of-county registrations.
55 Inter-library Loan Request.
56 Visits to the Genealogy Room.
1, 459 Video Cassettes Checked Out
11 Volunteers Contributed 108. 1/4 Hours of Service.
105 Children and 16 Adults Attended 8 Storytime Sessions.
130 Children and 83 Adults Attended 6 Special Programs & Tours;
4 Puppet Shows, 2 Storytimes at the Sonshine Street Christmas
Tree Store. (3 Storytimes & 1 Tour cancelled due to the holidays
and the weather) .
MEETING ATTENDED BY LIBRARY DIRECTOR INCLUDED:
*USTI Meeting (also Sheila Williams)- Computer Software.
*Workshop (also Sheila Williams)- Knowing Your Community.
*Various Community Meetings.
*TCLIS- January Conference in Austin. (Council woman Marty Lib
Saleh also attended. )
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Elaine Turner - Friends of the Library:
*Submitted list of donations by Friends of the Library
1985 thru 12/1990.
*Announced Publicity to be included in HEB, TAGT Newsletter.
*Distributed new flyer, publicizing Friends of the Library.

*Alice Ernest - Elected Vic-Chairman
*Chris Kubin - Elected Secretary
