CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Public Library Board of Trustees was
called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Judy Brown in the Fuller Room of the
library.

In October and November respectively volunteers 2 for 30 1/4 hours and
2 for 31 3/4 hours. Special program 7 puppet shows 195 children and 34
adults. 18 storytime sessions for 262 children and 45 adults.

BUSINESS
The City Council passed the next fee structure. (Ordinance 814)
Betty Yarbrough indicated that we needed to talk up the need for a new
and larger library.
Betty Yarbrough and Judy Brown indicated that a straw vote on the issue
of becoming a non profit independent organization had been taken by the
North Texas District. They pointed out several advantages as follows:
A) Removes state time constraints on spending
B) More local control
C) No additional cost involved
D) Successful funding in other parts of the country
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business discussed, the meeting
adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
