The book store will be open every Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Mrs. Yarbrough reported that a new cover with a water proof flap had been ordered for the book drop. She anticipates that such a replacement will solve the problem of water damage to books during rainy weather. NEW BUSINESS Mrs. Yarbrough encouraged all Board Members to attend the District Seven Workshop to be held October 21 and 22 at TCU in Fort Worth. Sonja Adams and David Sallee indicated they would be attending portions of that workshop. A new part-time employee has been hired to work in the Library. She began October 1st and will be working on Monday and Tuesday evenings and on Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Yarbrough reported that funds received from the Friends book sale had been used to purchase a rack for the children's book bags, bags containing books and cassettee tapes. This rack makes the books more acces- sible to the children so they can make their own selections. The Board members who missed the last Board meeting were advised of the change in policy regarding cancelled meetings. Any regularly scheduled Library Board meeting that had to be cancelled because of lack of a quorum would auto- matically be scheduled for the following Thursday. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:50p.m.
