Mrs. Yarbrough reminded Mr. Foreman to check the bulletin board in the Genealogy Room before each meeting because this is where she posts all mail for genealogy. Special Committee Report Bill Foreman brought us up-to-date on his work in search for more money in the city budget for the library. His discussion was on various ways of head count such as a turnstile, telephone calls, re-shelving of books, and questions asked at the desk. Bill discussed the DeProspo Study. It can be used by people as a guide on how to study libraries and the uses of libraries. Mrs. Armstrong will order the book, Data Gathering and Instructional Manual for Performance Measures in Public Libraries. Re-shelving in our library was discussed. It was suggested that a cart be out for us to put our books on and not back on the shelves. (Euless Public Library rd of Trustees, Regular Meetin November 1 , 1979) Unfinished Business Dotty Ragley presented to Mr. and Mrs. Pippin our recommendation that the book, Black Is Brown Is Tan, remain on the library shelf. The views and opinions of the board and Mr. and Mrs. Pippin were shared at this time. On page 5 of our by-laws, we would like to make a change in paragraph 7, line 5. It should read, "may appear at the Library Board meeting"; instead of, "must appear at the Library Board". This will be voted on at the next meeting. Adjournment There being no further business, the chairman adjourned the meeting at 8:45 p.m. /s/ Sonja Adams /s/ Dotty Ragley Secretary Chairman
