Regular Meeting
July 6, 1978
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Public Library was called
to order at 7:50 P. M. by Chairman Dottie Ragley. Members
attending:

MINUTES
Minutes of June 1st meeting approved as presented.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
The circulation report showed a decrease of - 4.2%. There
were 15 story books hours - 3 per day each Thursday.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussion was held regarding number of books that could
be checked out of the Euless Library as opposed to the limit (or no limit)
placed by other libraries. (Bill McCray suggested ten on fiction and five
on non-fiction). Chairman Ragley, inquired to her note of limitation by
Bill McCray with reference to the book limit on a particular subject or
reference books, which can be checked out.
There was no activity to report on the Genealogy Room.
Recommendation was made that a report be presented in the future.
Disucssion was held regarding methods of letting the public be
aware of the availability of the Library facilities as well as non-book
items - Mayors newsletter suggested as one method of communicating
with the public.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the Chairman adjourned the
meeting at 8:45 p. m.
