Euless Library Board
February 2, 1978
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Library
Board was called to order at 7:50 p.m. in the Fuller Room of the Euless Public
Library by Chairman Dotty Ragley. Other members present were Messrs. Roy
Blood and Bill McCray and Mrs. Norma Morelock. (Members absent were Mesdms.
Inez Morrison and Sis Perkins. )
Also present were Mrs. Geneva Armstrong,
Librarian and Mayor Pro Tem Willie Mae McCormick.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the regular meeting dated
January 5, 1978 were approved as presented.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
Mrs. Armstrong reported that the circulation
record shows a decrease of -7.7% from the same period last year. She stated
there were 193 people attending the Story Hours during the month of January.
Mrs. Armstrong commented briefly on changes
to be made on the By-Laws for presentation to the Library Board for their
approval . She stated she will bring her recommendations back to the Board.

NORTH TEXAS LIBRARY SYSTEM
Mrs. Dottie Ragley attended a meeting on
January 13, 1978, of the Planning Committee.
Mrs. Ragley reported that plans were submitted
to the Advisory Council in regard to audio-cassette programs, microfiche
readers, and Book by Mail to be removed from the Dallas System (NEILS) with
shut-ins to be provided with service from the Fort Worth System. She stated
that these items are to be voted on by the Advisory Council in February.

There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
