Regular Meeting
January 6, 1978
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Library Board was
called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Dottie Ragley,Chairman.

Sis Perkins
Dottie Ragley
Also attending: Merry Covington,Children ' s Librarian,
Mayor Pro Tem Willie May McCormick and Barbara Zieschang.
We had one guest attending, Mrs. Bonnie O ' Brien.
MINUTE S
No corrections forthcoming, the minutes were declared
approved as written by the Chairman.
LIBRARIAN ' S REPORT Mrs. Covington
The circulation record shows a decrease from last year.
There were 3 tours with 74 people attending. This month we
had 5 Story Hour. with 2.84 people . Reserved books checked
out were 41 . There were 41 requests for Interlibrary Loans,
Material sent in response were 42--31 books, 6 Zerox conies,
and 5 Microfilm.
Mrs. Covington went to a Budget Workshop in North
Richland Hills on December 5, 1977
There will be 2 days instead of 1 day for the Story
Hour. Tuesdays will be private for children from the 2 Day
Care Centers. Thurddav will be for the public .
HISTORIAN Inez Morrison
The second Scran Book is now up to date .
FRIENDS
The Friends are getting ready to start collecting
books for the Book Sale which will be held at the Northeast
Hall on March 17 and 18.

SOCIAL CONCERNS Mrs. Zieschang
Social Concerns hasn' t met for the month, but will
meet sometime next week.
Helning Hands was a great success.
NEW BUSINESS
Two policies for the Genealogy room were submitted by
Bill McCrav and Sis Perkins. They will be studied by the
members and will be discussed at the February meeting.
The chair again asked for a motion to revert back to
By-Law number 13 on nage 7. It was voted that it stays as
originally written. Roy Blood made a motion that it stays
as originally written, it was seconded by Bill Mcdray. All
members were in favor.
ADJOURNMENT
No further business at hand, the Chairman adjourned
the meeting at 8:40 P:M.
