The regular meeting of the Euless
Librpry Board was called to order at b: 52 P.Y. in the
Fuller Room e1 the Suless Library b y Jr. '. W. kcCo rick',
chairman. i embers present were as follows: Lessrs.

read by the secretary. I nutes approved as read. Vote ,
ayes: YcCormick, Seite, Barroweliff, I athews and Zieschang;
nays, none.
LIBRARIAN'S R::iJURT
Frs. Armstrong
The Soard received copies of the
circulation report which indicated a 4.0 increase over
the first nine r oaths of 19`/O. (Copy attached.)
. Y:rs. Armstrong attenaed the Burst
`.'LA-L`>CA ori_shop where she learned -chat new requirements
_tor federal grants preclude bindings, periodicals, or
hardware. Software such as film or film-strips, or tapes
for existing equipment may be funded. Special Pro ;ram
Grant requests must be planned for several years at a time
and ferns filled out accordingly. i rs. Armstrong will
stedy tee needs of our community For possible Program
iueas and req ested suggestions from tee )hard.
Tne District VII i;eetirrg in Denton
was also attended by I`rs. srmstrong and was the first
two day meeting in Texas. it estao;.fished precedent for
other Districts to follow and was attended by Sexas Library
.ssoci_ation President holly for his evaluation. The
two day format is successful as more of the participants
are e :le to a ,:end all workshops. An especially interesting
workshop co -corned avails ale books , pamphlets and papers
from the ,.. ;. eoverment.

leaks and that there are :Fang leaks in the foundation
and roof, especially in the Prinary and I7oung Adult Section.
