Euless Library Board
May 21 , 1971
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless
Library Board was called to order at 6:45 P.M. in the Fuller Room of
Euless Public Library, with Chairman George Scott presiding. Members
present are listed, as follows : Mrs. W. R. Zieschang, Messrs. W. W.
McCormick, Hugh Waite and George Scott. (Absent were Mesdms. Bernard
Matthews and Jarrell Bolton.)
Also present was Mrs. Geneva Armstrong,
Librarian.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT,
MRS. GENEVA ARMSTRONG
Circulation Report
Mrs. Armstrong reported that circula-
tion is up 13.8% from April , 1970.

Book Reviews
The Librarian reported that the recent
review of the book "Mother's Blue Hen" was successful , and another review
is being planned for September, 1971 .
Euless Nursing Center Project
Mrs. Armstrong reported that the new
project for providing books for use at the Euless Nursing Center has
proved to be both useful and successful . She advised that an Arlington
group is checking into the availability of large print and talking-books.

WELCOME OF NEW MEMBER,
MR. HUGH WAITE
Mr. Hugh Waite was welcomed, as a new
member of the Library Board, having recently been appointed by the Euless
City Council .

COMMITTEE REPORT,
MRS. MATHEWS AND MR. SCOTT
Mr. Scott reported that he and Mrs.
Mathews are still researching the possibility of opening two school
libraries during the summer of 1972.
IV.
ADJOURNMENT
Mrs. Zieschang moved to adjourn the
meeting.
Mr. McCormick seconded the motion,
and the vote is as follows :
Ayes : Mrs. Zieschang, Messrs. McCormick, Waite and Scott
Nays : None
Chairman Scott declared the motion carried, and the meeting was adjourned
at 7 :30 P.M.
