Euless Library Board
October 20, 1970
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Euless Library
Board was called to order at 6:45 P. M. , in the Fuller Room of Euless Public
Library, with Chairman George Scott presiding. Other members present are listed,
as follows : Mesdms. Bernard Mathews, George Goss and Wallace Zieschang.
Absent: Mr. W. W. McCormick and Mrs. Jarrell Bolton.
Also present was Mrs. Geneva Armstrong,
Librarian.
BUDGET REPORT,
MRS. GENEVA ARMSTRONG
Mrs. Armstrong reported that the Official
Budget for the Fiscal Year 1970-71 , which was recently approved by the Euless
City Council , includes a five percent (5%) increase in salary for members of
the Library Staff; however, the allocation for book purchases remains the same
as for the previous year, and there are no plans for additional personnel in
that department.
Mrs. Goss moved that further study be
given, and recommendations made on additional help and needs for the Library.
(Notes furnished the Office of the City Secretary did not indicate that there
was a second to this motion, and a vote on the question was not recorded.)

NEED FOR ADDITIONAL
VOLUNTEER WORKERS
It was recommended that an article con-
cerning the need for additional volunteer workers be submitted for publication
as soon as possible.
III .
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
