MINUTES OF JANUARY, 1967 MEETING
The regular meeting of the Euless Library Board, scheduled for January 5,
1967 was cancelled due to Part 3 of Title 2 being incomplete. This
meeting of January 19, 1967 being a called session.
The Board met at 7:30 P.M. in the Library. The meeting was called to
order by Mrs. Browne and minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Mr. Cowell presented Part 3 of Title 2 to the Board. Bob Soule made a
motion we go before City Council at their next session and recommend this
be accepted and forwarded to Austin. Motion was seconded by Bob Messer
and passed.
( In a meeting January 24, 1967, City Council gave their approval .)
Duane Jarvis, Architect, then presented detailed blue prints of the new
library to the Board. A lengthy discussion followed regarding the amount
of the appropriation for the landscaping.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
