CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
MINUTES
Wednesday, September 10, 1997
A meeting of the City of Euless Civil Service Commission was called to order on Wednesday,
September 10, 1997 at 5:05 pm.

Tom Cox, Director Support Services
Lee Koontz, Fire Chief
Gary McKamie, Police Chief
Ruth Alley, Personnel Manager
Alice Cahill, Civil Service Secretary
Paul Wieneskie, Assistant City Attorney
Invocation was given by Marland Ernest.
Mrs. McCormick made a motion to approve the Minutes of November 16, 1995. Mr. Ernest
seconded the motion.
AYES: Ernest, McCormick, Hicks
NOES: None
Motion carried, and the Minutes of November 16, 1995 were approved as read.

Civil Service Commission Minutes - Wednesday, September 10, 1997
Mrs. McCormick made a motion to approve the Minutes of March 12, 1997. Mrs. Hicks
seconded the motion.
AYES: Ernest, McCormick, Hicks
NOES: None
Motion carried, and the Minutes of March 12, 1997 were approved as read.
Mr. Ernest opened discussion of the Civil Service Rules & Regulations draft revision, Chapter 1
through 3, and part of Chapter 4.
The Commission moved to recess until the next Civil Service Meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:05pm.

*Note: Mr. Ernest was chairman at the time these minutes were conducted. Mr. Ernest has since
resigned and moved. Mrs. McCormick is the only commissioner present at the September 10th
meeting.
