MINUTES
The City of Euless Civil Service Commission met on Monday, November 16, 1992 at
8:10 p.m. at the City of Euless Boards and Commissions meeting at City Hall.
Commission Members Present
Willie Mae McCormick
Glenn Walker
Marland Ernest
Staff Members Present
Debra Forte', Director of Fiscal & Human Resources
Ruth Alley, Personnel Manager
Alternate member, Charles Cade was not present.
Mrs. Willie Mae McCormick made a motion for Glenn Walker to be elected as
Chairman. Mr. Walker agreed to serve.
Marland Ernest was in attendance and will be appointed to the Commission
November 24, 1992.
A brief discussion about the Commission, its purpose, responsibilities, and
recent transactions was presented by Debra Forte'.
Ruth Alley offered a brief orientation for the new member and the alternate
member, to bring them up to date before the next official Civil Service
Commission meeting.
Debra Forte' advised the Commission that the meetings are held on an as needed
basis, therefore the next meeting was not called. The Commission was also
advised that the City Council ad hoc committee on Personnel was currently
reviewing the Sick Leave policy, and will have a proposal by December or
January.
