HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-08-27 C11 i OF EULESS CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Al 't 27, 1991 MEEFING MIMES CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order by Civil Service Chairman Henry Boatright at 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 1991. PRESENT Mr. Henry Boatright, Chairman Mrs. Willie Mae McCormick Mr. Tommy Barnes Mrs. Debra Forte', Director Fiscal & Human Resources Mrs. Alice Cahill, Personnel Technician I. INVOCATION The invocation was given by Mr. Henry Boatright. II. NEW BUSINESS - CONSIDERATION OF REQUEST FOR HEARING OF APPEAL BY DAVID NORTHCUIT Commissioner Barnes asked Mr. Northcutt to confirm the purpose of the meeting being to consider his request for a hearing of appeal, or grievance in the matter of Mr. Northcutt's termination. At 9:09 a.m. the Commission convened in Eecutive Session to discuss Mr. Northcutt's request, as per V.T.C.S. Art. 6252-17 Section 2(g) . At 9:21 a.m. the Commission reconvened in open session. Chairman Boatright advised Mr. Northcutt that the Civil Service Commission decided a hearing should be granted. Mr. Barnes made a motion to hear Mr. Northcutt's appeal. Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion, the vote is as follows: Ayes: Chairman Boatright, Mrs. McCormick, Mr. Barnes Noes: None Chairman Boatright declared the motion carried. Chairman Boatright advised Mr. Northcutt that if he wished to submit any further information, he should do so at the hearing.
