Civil Service Commission
March 8, 1975
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meetiig of the Civil
Service Commission was called to order at 8:15 A.M. in the Conference
Room of the Civil Service Commission at 134 Sheperd Drive by the
Chairman W. J. 'Doc' Hyde. Others members present were Frank Douglass,
and alternates W. L. Wray, and David Crow.
Also present were Mrs. Willie
Mae McCormick and Clerk Colita Williamson.
INVOCATION
The invocation was given by Mr.
Frank Douglass.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Hyde moved to approve the
minutes of the called meeting of February 22, 1975, as written.
Mr. Frank Douglass seconded the
motion and the vote was as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Hyde, Douglass, Wray (Mr. James McKinney was not
present at this meeting.)
Nays: None
Chairman Hyde declared the motion
carried.
SUMMARY OF CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION TASKS TO GO
For Summary, see Attachment 1.
After discussion of summary re-
port items 1-19 the commissioners felt that they as individuals
should become involved in a positive way so that City Employees
would see how the commission does truly represent them in this
program. Chairman Hyde stated that any interested member might take
on any one of these particular tasks and help in what ever way they
felt they could.
The Civil Service Commission
members voted to make as the Commission permanent address, 201 Ector
Drive, Euless, Texas, 76039 due to the building that houses the
office being razed in the next year or so.

The Commission members voted to
have business cards printed that will give the address of the
Civil Service Commission of Euless, the phone number of same, and
the name of the Clerk, Colita Williamson.
The Commission members discussed
when to schedule regular meetings and decided to have regular
commission meetings on the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 A.M. ,
with called meetings whenever necessary. The meetings will be held
at 134 Sheperd Drive in the Conference Room.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 0:30 A.M.
