Civil Service Commission
January 19, 1971+
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Civil Service
Commission was called to order at 8:01 a.m. in the Conference Room of
Euless City Hall by Chairman W. J. "Doc" Hyde. Other members present were
Messrs. James McKinney and Frank Douglass.
Also present were Mrs. Willie Mae McCormick
and Recording Secretary Becky Lowrance.
INVOCATION
Invocation was given by Rev. James McKinney.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Hyde moved to approve the minutes
of the regular meeting dated January 5, 1974, as written.
Mr. McKinney seconded the motion and the
vote is as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Hyde and McKinney (Mr. Douglass was not present at this time.)
Nays: None
Chairman Hyde declared the motion carried.
REQUEST FROM COMMISSION
Chairman Hyde requested that there be a
Certificate of Posting with each posting of the agenda as outlined in the
Texas Municipal League flyer sheet on the Texas Open Meeting Laws. He also
requested that every meeting posted be kept in a permanent file.

DISCUSSION OF PROPOSED CIVIL
SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Commission discussed a memorandum to the
City Council and attachments which included comments and changes to the
Rules and Regulations. III .
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
