HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-03 EulessTodayMarch2020 Dear Citizens, March 1, 2016, is a day I’ll always remember. That’s the day that Police Officer David Stefan Hofer #554 was fatally shot while on duty. The memory of this tragic day is etched in the hearts and minds of the members of the Euless Police Department and the citizens of our community. Officer Hofer, who was only 29-years-old at the time, had been with our Police Department two years. He had the true heart of a servant. He was passionate about helping people and improving lives. So, to honor Police Officer David Hofer, I invite you to join us on March 1 at 3:00 p.m. for a brief Wreath Laying Ceremony at the 911 Memorial in front of the Euless Fire Administration Building. I hope to see you all there to help honor his memory.
