Called Session
Board of Aldermen
April 15, 1953
The Board of Aldermen of the Village of
Euless met in called session at 7:00 p.m. on April 15, 1953. Present were
Mayor Umphress and Aldermen M i l l i c a n , Fuller, Tillery, and Anderson.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider
approval of CEDAR HILL ESTATES ADDITION.
A blue printed plat of the addition showing
a l l blocks, lots, streets, alleys, easements, etc., was presented by
Mr. W. C. Goodrum, who represented the developers, Mr. and Mrs. R. H.
Henslee. Mr. Goodrum also presented a duly executed bond in the amount of
$12,500.00, made to the Board guaranteeing the proper construction of streets
and their maintenance for a period of one year from date of their acceptance
by the Board. After due discussion, a motion that the plat and bond be
accepted, subject to the plats approval by Tarrant County's Commissioners
Court, was made by Anderson. This was seconded by Tillery and the vote was
unanimous in favor.
The adjournment was at 9:00 p.m.
