Members of the Euless City Council attended a joint meeting of the
Hurst-Euless-Bedford Economic Development Foundation along with representatives
from the City of Hurst, City of Bedford, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School
District and the HEB Chamber of Commerce on Monday, February 20, 2012, at the Pat
May Center in Bedford, Texas.
Representatives from the City of Euless included:
Mayor Mary Lib Saleh
Mayor Pro Tern Donna Mickan and Randell Mickan
Council Member Tim Stinneford
Council Member Leon Hogg and Jan Hogg
Council Member Linda Martin and Don Martin
Council Member Glenn Porterfield
Council Member Perry Bynum and Lisa Bynum
City Manager Gary McKamie
Deputy City Manager Loretta Getchell
Assistant City Manager Chris Barker
Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins
City Secretary Kim Sutter
Following dinner, the meeting was called to order at 6:22 p.m. by HEB Chamber of
Commerce President and CEO Mary Martin Frazior. The invocation was given by
HEB ISD Trustee Faye Beaulieu. Hurst Council Member Bill McLendon led the
Pledge of Allegiance.
Mary Frazior recognized the members of the HEB EDF Board of Directors for Fiscal
Year 2010-2011 and for Fiscal Year 2011-2012. She reviewed the economic
indicators and related statistics for the three cities and gave an update of new
businesses in the three cities.
Euless Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins, Bedford
Economic Development Director Bill Syblon, and Hurst Economic Development
Director Steve Bowden each gave development updates related to activity in their
respective cities during the past year.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
