MAY 7, 1991
ITEM NO: 1: CALL TO ORDER
1991-87
A called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order at
4 :20 p.m., on 'Tuesday, May 7, 1991, in the downstairs Administration
Building Conference Room by Mayor Pro Tem Peter Staks. Those present
included:
Peter Staks, Mayor Pro Tem
Bobby Baker, Councilman
Frank Douglass, Councilman
Mary Lib Saleh, Councilwoman
Todd Smith, Councilman
Tom Hart, City Manager
Steve Norwood, Assistant to City Manager
Susan Crim, City Secretary
Debra Forte, Director of Human and Fiscal Resources
K. B. Fuller, Police Chief
Paul. K :ruckemeyer, City Engineer
John Craig, Director of Development
Randy Byers, Director of Public Works
ITEM NO. 2: IIELD WORKSESSION
Debra Forte reviewed the six month financial report of the City's
revenues.
MAYOR SAMUELS ARRIVED AT THE MEETING.
ITEM NO. 3: OFFICIAL CANVASS FOR THE CITY OF EULESS GENERAL ELECTION
HELD ON MAY 4, 1991
Mayor Samuels announced the election results as they were presented to
him by Dorothy Wilkinson and Joan Myers, Election Judges, in the
general election for Mayor, Council Member Place 2 and Council Member
Place 4.
MAYOR:
Harold D. Samuels received a total. of 1,022 votes.

HELD ON MAY 4, 1991 (cont.)
COUNCIL MEMBER PLACE 2:
Jack Hill received a total of 395 votes.
Todd Smith received a total. of 845 votes.
COUNCIL MEMBER PLACE 4:
Mary Lib Saleh received a total of 910 votes.
Councilman. Baker moved to accept the results of the May 4, 1991,
election for Mayor. and Council Member Place 2 and Council. Member Place
4 as presented.
Councilman Douglass seconded the motion,
Ayes: Council Members Baker, Douglass, Saleh and St.aks
Nays: None
Mayor Samuels declared the motion carried.
Election Certificates were presented to Mayor Harold D. Samuels,
Councilman Todd Smith and Councilwoman Mary Lib Saleh.
ITFJ4 NO. 2: HELD WORKSRSSION (cont.)
Director of Fiscal and Human Resources Debra Forte gave an update on
the Drainage Utility System and the Cash Management Program. She then
discussed the escrow procedures of the City.
City Manager Tom Hart reviewed the status of the Capital Improvement
Program with the Council members.
MAYOR SAMUELS LEFT THE MEETING.
Debra Forte. and Tom hart previewed the budget procedures being
followed this year by the staff in preparing the budget for fiscal.
year 1991-1992 to be presented to the Council in July.

ITEM NO. 4: MOTION TO ADJOURN
There being no further business before the City Council, the meeting
was adjourned. at. 9:12 p.m.
