Euless City Council
February 22, 1958
The City Council met in special session
at 2:30 p.m. on February 22, 1958•
Present were Councilmen S. H. Cadenhead,
Paul Horton, and J. S. Anderson, with Mayor Ernest Millican, Jr., presiding.
Councilman Cadenhead moved that all
police records be moved to the police office, as of this date, and be kept
under the supervision of the police chief. Councilman Horton offered a
second. The vote was unanimous in favor.
It was further moved by Councilman
Horton that Mr. T. A. Kennard be relieved of his duties as Court Clerk,
as of this date, and F. D. Sheppard be appointed to fill this office.
Councilman Cadenhead offered a second. The vote was unanimous in favor.
On a motion by Councilman Cadenhead,
with a second by Councilman Horton, the Council unanimously authorized
Police Chief Sustaire to employ an additional experienced man at a salary
of $350.00 per month, and to purchase radio and radar equipment, it being
understood that 1/2 of the purchase price of said radio equipment would be
paid by Civil Defense.
The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
