A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS,
APPROVING A CHAPTER 380 AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF EULESS AND EVERGREEN
EULESS SENIOR COMMUNITY, L.P. AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Chapter 380 of the Texas Local Government Code provides that
Texas municipalities may create programs to promote local economic development; and
WHEREAS, Euless has approved incentives to encourage redevelopment
projects and to further enhance the benefits of the improvements to the business and
the community as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the Euless City Council hereby finds that the Agreement by and between
the City of Euless and Evergreen Euless Senior Community, L.P. embodies an eligible
"program" and clearly promotes economic development in the City of Euless, Texas
and, as such, meets the requisites under Chapter 380 of the Texas Local Government
Code and further, is in the best interest of the City.
SECTION 2.
THAT the Euless City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute an
Agreement by and between the City of Euless and Evergreen Euless Senior
Community, L.P.
APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 24th day of
July 2012, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and o abstentions.
